Michigan Medicine Lodging Options
Med Inn
The Med Inn is a 30-room hotel, located in the heart of the University of Michigan medical complex. Families of patients having surgery or a loved one in one of the hospital ICUs, along with seniors and patients and visitors with special needs, will enjoy a continental breakfast delivered to your room via bellman services (hours vary). Rooms have one or two queen beds, a microwave and refrigerator, and a flat screen TV.
The nightly rate at the Med Inn is tax-exempt. Mini-suites and barrier-free rooms are also available upon request, but not guaranteed. Med-Inn Hotel offers 'light touch' housekeeping service for guests staying more than one night; we will provide full service upon request.
Michigan Medicine Respite House (previously The Transplant House)
Michigan Medicine Respite House is a six-room communal living house within one mile of the medical campus for patients, families and caregivers. The Respite House provides a place to rest, relax and rejuvenate. Guests have the ability to prepare personal meals, relax in a private room or socialize with other guests. Kitchen, bathrooms and living room are shared spaces. The Respite House is one of Michigan Medicine’s most affordable lodging options.

Ronald McDonald House
Closest Casino To U Of M Hospital Address
Families of children receiving care at Michigan Medicine can find low-cost rooms at Ronald McDonald House of Ann Arbor, a community-run facility located next to the medical campus. A donation per family per night is requested. Call 734-994-4442.
Ann Arbor Mennonite Guest Home
The Ann Arbor Mennonite Guest Home provides lodging for patients and families travelling to Michigan Medicine for appointments or hospitalization. The home provides continental breakfast, shuttle service (for a fee), washer/dryer and kitchen access. Children must be 16 years of age to stay at the Guest Home. Call 734-222-6233.
Compassion Inn
The Compassion Inn is a non-profit hospitality house designed to offer temporary lodging for out-of-town patients and families receiving care at one of our local medical centers: University of Michigan Hospital (Michigan Medicine), Veterans Administration Hospital and St. Joseph Mercy Hospital. The Fisher House

Recreational Vehicle (RV) Parking
RV parking is permitted on a first-come, first-served basis in the M29 lot on Nichols Drive (near the Arboretum). We do not take reservations.
RV parking requires a $2 per day parking permit, which can be obtained from the Entrance Program, which is located just inside the entrance at the University Hospital Circle Drive.
Spaces cannot be reserved, and there is no guarantee that there will be an available space.
There are NO electrical/water hook-ups available; vehicles must be self-contained and should not discharge any kind of liquid. Call 734-936-6641 for more information.
